Happy Wednesday Y’all!
We’re halfway through this week and I couldn’t be happier! I’m finding it difficult to believe we’re five days into September – oh, how I love this time of year!!
Wanna know what else I love – Hair!!
Anyone who knows me well will tell you I am a hair fanatic!
Born a little blonde towhead and, with the help of a bit of color, stayed that way until I hit 26.
I can vividly remember sitting in the chair at the salon as the colorist magically took me back to natural dark, very dark, brown.
I have to admit I was shocked to say the least – it was SOOO Dark – but it matched my natural color perfectly and it quickly grew on me (ha! literally!) and I stayed a brunette until i had a midlife moment at age FORTY-THREE!

My stylist made me wait three weeks from the day I told her I wanted to go back BLONDE! I held to my guns, she was finally convinced and after a six-hour appointment I was BACK!
I was so happy. The fact that my locks had just been through hair hell never occurred to me – until a few days later.
However, the silky, shiny blonde I remembered was nowhere to be found. My tresses were full of stresses and I needed HELP!
I had used Fekkai products for several years – but always had healthy, strong hair to begin with so no need for desperation – and so I never truly realized the “power of the product!!”

OMG you look beautiful with your dark hair, and just as gorgeous as a blonde. I too am a dark haired brunette, however as I’ve gotten older, and those pesky greys started creeping in, I have embraced the blonde in me. Now add menopause to that equation, I’ve noticed how dry my hair is. I have naturally curly hair (looks more like the tail end of a perm, in MHO) As my friend says, I have Peter Frampton hair.
