What does it mean to be a #ladyboss??
My sweet friend Shauna @chicover50 sent me one of her signature #ladyboss tees a few weeks ago when she knew I was going through a particularly difficult time. (Grab one for yourself or a friend on her website HERE!)
I opened the shirt, smiled – cause my friend loves me, so yay – but then immediately thought to myself, “I sure don’t FEEL like a #ladyboss …” I felt completely overwhelmed and unsure. I was making some hard decisions – life-changing & emotional. I honestly felt more like wrapping myself in a blankie and crawling into a hole rather than strutting boldly in a tee that proclaimed I was a female with hustle in her game!
But then it hit me…. #ladyboss doesn’t mean we don’t struggle. It’s actually quite the contrary!
Being a #ladyboss means we make it happen THROUGH The Struggle! We Keep Going. We accept the challenge, do our best, keep smiling – sometimes even through our tears – and make it happen!! YEP~ We Keep GOING!
So the next time life throws a curve ball your way (#baseballspeakforlorin), remember its not how you FEEL that determines your #ladyboss status… You Are A Lady Boss Because You Kept Going! Determined To Finish ~ Head Held High So The Crown Never Slips!

Continuing on here with this #ladyboss mindset. My prayer lately is that I will remember that we as women were created to feel, to be emotional – to be human. I am trying to embrace that side of myself as I encourage those that walk alongside me to do the same.
