New York Fashion Week Came And Went SO Quickly!

Surely It Wasn’t All Just A Dream . . . Nope – I’ve got the dress to prove it . . . This little number was one of my favorite looks!!

Most Certainly A Dress To Remember And A Time I’ll Never Forget!!!

But Now. . . Back To Reality!!

As I wrote this post, I was on my flight heading back down south with so many mixed emotions  .  .  .

First let me say that I am SO grateful to have spent an amazing five days at New York Fashion Week with so many fabulous women!  I have been so fortunate as friendships continue to form with women who are each other’s biggest cheerleaders!

Community Over Competition – not just a concept or cliche – I see these women pull each other along . . . helping, sharing and loving – encouraging each other to be all that she can be!

Ummm . . . These Booties . . . I knew I had to have the moment I laid eyes on their little lacy soles!

So Happy . . .  This Entire Look Is On SALE!

The strange thing to me is that these are women I’ve met through social media (Instagram mostly)! They come from all over – north, south, east and west – Each so unique yet all exactly the same.

To be surrounded by so many  lovely ladies is just such a treasure.

Settled in my seat on the plane  (I had the whole row to myself- Yessss!!!) – my mind shifts toward home and I’m excited to get back to my family and friends.

As we wing our way and get closer  (from NYC to North Carolina), the rain is beginning to set in.  Slow and steady, each drop reminding me of the thousands and thousands of people affected by these nasty hurricanes.

Many of them their lives forever changed by circumstances far beyond their control. Such Tragedy.

We must continue in prayer for these sweet souls – remembering that though the storm has passed their nightmare has just begun – each of us giving in any way we can as they struggle to recover their lives and rebuild their cities. It won’t be overnight but it will happen.

I believe Good can come from most any situation.  I hope these recent events shake us awake…reminding us that life can take a turn for the worst in a New York minute.

Each day is a gift and those we spend our moments with are invaluable.

As I always say, “Love Who You Love.”

Thanks for stopping by ~ I am so thankful for you sweet friends!

Y’all are always so kind and your support always astounds me.  I realize it’s just another gift I am so blessed to receive!!

Make it an amazing day!!
