Hey y’all ~ I hope your day is off to a good start! I could swear we hit 100 degrees by 8:00 am every day this week… SUCH a hot, humid July!

I hate to say the F word but…. maybe, kinda, sorta wishing for Fall!!!

Y’all, I am a makeup lover in every direction! I can usually be found painted, full-faced and just so happy about it!!

Perricone MD was kind enough to send me a box of goodies recently and I was excited to try their new No Makeup Foundation Serum.

My usual foundation preference is a matte, full coverage – I’ve worn that formula for years. I’ve always been a little reluctant when I try anything labeled “sheer” but every now and then I come across one I find worthy and Perricone MD hit a home run with this one!!

Actually, No Makeup Foundation Serum is very different from most any foundation I’ve previously tried. The coverage is certainly sheer but heavy enough to even out skin tones and wipe away any dark spots (not that I have those— yeah, right!)!! The finish is dewy (not gooey though!) and it’s available in eight different shades.

What I like most about this new Perricone MD foundation is what it does for my skin overall! This line is actually a Makeup infused SKINCARE, as it visibly improves dark spots and uneven skin tone over time after daily use. Another plus, it has a Broad Spectrum SPF 20 and I love a makeup that includes sunscreen!!

I’ve also been using Perricone MD’s No Makeup Blush (which visibly improves dullness & loss of firmness over time) and No Makeup Highlighter (visibly improves discoloration & dullness over time). I am LOVING both! Long lasting but not too heavy – definitely the smartest way to brighten your look this summer!!

Inspiration For The Heart~

I saw this the other day on @lisadharper ‘s Instagram and it hit me hard.

I guess I love it because it brings me SUCH Comfort.

I’ve seen days too recently when not only was I SHAKEN… I Was SHAKING! Have you ever been there? When the news you receive or the path you’re walking leaves you completely shaken?? Sleepless nights and long hard days, gasping and grasping but still unable to gather yourself?? Me too.

And it’s in those moments, in that darkness, that we see who our God truly is. He never changes.

It’s actually my favorite thing about Him. Quite simply put- nothing beats His consistency! That faithfulness that remains exactly the same at every turn and around every corner. Bad doctors report. Divorce. Disappointments. Loss of a job. Bad Decisions. Death of a loved one. The list could go on and on but through it all He Remains. Loving. Merciful. Faithful. UNSHAKEN.

God knows where I’ve been. He knows where I am and Only He knows where He’s taking me. He isn’t worried and He isn’t moved.

To place full trust in Him is the very essence of what real hope is all about. And though things don’t always go as planned, I can REST In Him knowing that, ultimately, I am not in control and under His wing. And He Is Never Shaken♥️
