Happy Friday Y’all!
This week has flown by and I Can NOT believe November is less than a week away!
I am in the process of downsizing and what a process it is!! Normally when November 1st rolls around I begin seriously thinking about Christmas and even begin pulling items out to begin one of my favorite things – Christmas Décor!! Yall, I can almost see the eye rolls . . . but I say live and let live!!
I have always loved the holidays and over the years the decorating may have gotten a bit out of control – I put up seven trees until just last year when I reeled myself in and only decorated three (I know, I know!). “Go Big Or Go Home” has been my frame of mind but this year life has taken a totally new direction. This downsizing thing is no joke and my focus has been adjusted to enjoying what I have and sharing what I don’t need (or don’t have room for!).
In any case, November has me thinking happy holiday thoughts and my excitement isn’t dependent on how many perfectly themed trees my house can hold! Holidays give me the warm fuzzies as family draws near and memories are made . . . So bring on the Thanksgiving feast and the Christmas caroling – This Southern Blonde Is READY!!
Of course, Family, Friends, Faith, Feast and Festivities aren’t the only happy “F” words that come to mind when I begin to prepare for the holidays – We Just Can’t Leave Out FASHION!!
