Welcome To Tuesday My Friends!
So how is everyone holding up??
My weekend was spent gardening and, I must admit, I enjoyed every minute of it! There’s something so therapeutic for me about digging and planting. I spent eight to ten hours A DAY Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the yard – weeding existing flower beds and planting new bushes and flowers.
We moved into our little home right as I completed chemotherapy. I had surgery and then 40 rounds of radiation afterward so the last thing on my mind then was an attempt at doing yardwork.
Oh what a difference a year can make! New house, some hair (whoohoo) and enough energy to dig in the dirt until my heart’s content. . . .
And I guess that’s more or less what I wanted to talk about today.
This Strange Time We Are All Living In WILL PASS. God sees the other side and because we trust that, we can continue walking in hope and peace.
Yep, you read it right… HOPE and PEACE! Those aren’t words we hear much lately – BUT GOD gives hope and peace in times of trouble. Yes, God has provided a PARACHUTE for those days when you feel like you’re free-falling!!
Yep – these are absolutely troubling times… This Corona situation is completely beyond our control – and that is always difficult. I know a little about that (hello… BREAST CANCER). And I learned a few things as I journeyed through that breast cancer this past year – probably some things I didn’t even want to know! And The ONE THING I want to share with you today is that even when life is chaos, God Is In COMPLETE CONTROL and He Will Give You Hope and PEACE! God Knows Exactly What Tomorrow Brings. He knows where we’re going and He promises us that He will provide Total Peace As We Walk WITH Him.
When we do OUR PART, God Is Faithful To Do HIS PART! He directs us NOT TO WORRY, to come to Him in prayer with thankfulness and He will protect our hearts and minds, giving us peace that is beyond comprehension. I don’t know about you, but I could use a little peace right about now. How comforting to know that God already knew there would be days like these – days of heavy hearts and fearful minds. I am so grateful that He has already made a provision of peace.
He KNEW we would travel through times of uncertainty and that, my friends, is His specialty. God loves me and He loves you. And in my weakness, His strength shines through. When I feel there’s nothing more I can do, when I’m completely at a loss – God always steps in giving me exactly what I need, keeping every promise He ever made.
He never leaves and He never fails. And I can promise you, COVID-19 or anything else, will never change that. He Is Faithful.
In time, this will all be a thing of the past. And Just Like Me, you’ll be looking back, so thankful for a new place in life’s path, focusing energy to something that makes your heart full . . . and who knows, maybe you’ll even find yourself smiling as you dig in the dirt.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

I think they are always so chic and so easy-peasy to style! Such a simple look that always comes off so pulled together!!
