Happy Tuesday Friends! I hope y’all had a great weekend!!

My hours included lots and lots of boxes and heavy lifting! Thankfully, I’m getting closer to being moved out or moved in – whichever… But honestly it’s a whole lotta chaos right now and I’ll be glad when this moving storm subsides!! I think one more weekend and I should be completely DONE! Y’all keep your fingers crossed!

I was online for a bit yesterday and dropped some goodies in my cart – I need to finish my shopping trip today so I can get that goodness delivered!! Time just gets away but I’m MAKING TIME to finish this one – the prices are just too good!!

I am always looking for pieces that speak especially to me – y’all know what I mean, those pieces that you feel really share a bit of your personality?! The styles at Femme Luxe do exactly that for me.

I love a great graphic tee and this one is seriously sooo cute! It shares a message that I truly believe in as I feel all females in general need to love who they are in every stage of life!! Am I right?! And this tee gets a cool retro vibe in this Black & White and that is always a win in my book!!

And y’all know how much I adore the pinks! Any shade for every season and this beautiful, bold pink blouse just screams SUMMERTIME!! Gorgeous, right??!

I love the flow of the sleeves, so billowy soft! And this adorable peplum waist is flattering for every body type!

I love pieces that are versatile and can be dressed up to the nines or be just as fabulous in a casual setting and this one certainly falls in that category and I’ve already gotten lots of wear from this pretty little pinkie !

I’ve paired it with simple denim here and last week wore it to work with a floral pencil skirt. I loved it both ways!! This Fall – which will be here before we turn around – I can’t wait to throw on a tailored blazer or cozy cardigan with it. It will be the perfect layering piece!!

On a more casual note, can we talk about this cute little sweatshirt! It actually IS perfect for your day off and will be the perfect Saturday morning throw-on as Fall makes its debut.

Super soft and medium weight, this piece runs true to size but I ordered mine a little bigger just so I could snuggle up as the weather changes! Gosh, y’all I love the thought of that!!

And last, but definitely not least, is the cutest two-piece ensemble around!! This sassy set is one of my new favorites!

I love how much fun these pieces are together! Classic plaid with a little twist – and the mix and match capabilities are endless for sure!

This plaid is great as we move toward the cooler months. And again, I think this would be perfection as I layer my favorite black leather or suede moto over these plaid lines – SO Cute!!

This look is super just perfection with flats or a great pair of casual platforms (like mine here) that are everywhere right now! I also wore these pants with a white button-up and heels to work and loved! I feel like the taper in these pants gives me some help with these hips that just don’t seem to go away!! And that, my friend, is something this girl can smile about!!

Inspiration For The Heart~

I saw this on Instagram a few days ago and I knew I needed to share it.

Not just for your benefit but for mine – probably more for me, if I’m being honest!

I’m not a great planner – but I am VERY solutions oriented. Yep- I’m A Fixer!!

Whether it’s my own personal issue or a problem that someone I know shares, my brain immediately goes into overdrive to figure out the right solution – or at the very least, some solid alternatives.

It probably gives me some semblance of control – even though I know I’m not driving the ship – and makes me feel just a tad more secure.

I guess we all have a touch of that going on and, I suppose, that’s why God most times chooses to reveal our journey one step at a time.

The Bible says His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path and although too many times I wish He would at least give me a hint as to what’s coming, I do realize He knows me better than I know myself and always has the better plan.

Honestly, if I had KNOWN two years ago that I would be battling breast cancer, I just don’t know if I could have handled it… I would have worried those years away, missing so much. I know me well enough to know that I would have been paralyzed with fear at all the “what ifs” on this journey- that by the time it was actually time to deal with the reality of the cancer, fear and anxiety would have beaten me down – not only stealing precious time but laying a foundation that wasn’t strong or solid. Yes, God knew and God had a better plan.

God knew how my faith would grow from month to month, treatment to treatment. He knew that I would learn once again that He is always there, an ever present help in the time of trouble. And He knew that I would be at a place in life where I was surrounded by literally THOUSANDS of praying family and friends – in real life and on my social media platforms. He knew exactly what I needed to be bold and courageous and THAT is why we must trust Him.

We must learn to honestly be able to say, I don’t know what the future holds, BUT I Know The One Who Holds My Future. He is good and He is faithful. And that’s all we ever really need to know♥️
