Hope your day is off to an amazing start! I’ve had one of those weeks with too much to do and oh-so-little time. I’m getting it all in somehow and am actually feeling rather accomplished!
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite HATS! Are you a hat person?? I have worn them all my life. They’re a lifesaver on bad(read dirty!) hair days or for those days when I’m running late – who am I kidding… That’s EVERY DAY!!!
Hats are a great accessory and I love these straw ones best for summertime – the brims are a good size and there are so many to choose from!!
I think a great hat can really elevate almost any outfit. Maxi dresses are my go-to for summer and nothing finishes the look like a cute hat! I enjoy wearing them with dresses, shorts and with the latest jumpsuit trend, too. And of course, poolside or toes in the sand always calls for a fabulous hat! Here are a few I love – they’re adorable and affordable and most are under $20!!

Are you a control freak? I must admit, I Kinda, Sorta Am! Or maybe I should say, WAS…
My fight with cancer (I’m winning by the way!!) quickly taught me something I thought I already knew… there are some things you just can’t control.
I’ve learned so much over these past few months and one of the biggest lessons was that we are never really, truly in control. I may like to schedule and do what I can to navigate my life but sometimes the road unexpectedly takes a sharp turn and I find myself sitting back, forced to sing, “Jesus Take The Wheel”!!
It isn’t an easy place to be BUT I do know for sure that if you FOCUS ON WHO you’re going with (God Is Faithful!!) INSTEAD OF WHERE you’re going, you just might find that God can be trusted. That He has a good plan for you. And He handles your life better than you do anyway!!
