Can you believe we’re heading into the last week of January?! It seems Christmas was yesterday… Time moves way too quickly!
Have you been moving ahead with your 2020 goals?? I feel like I got a late start but I’m picking up speed! My primary focus this year (aside from faith, family & friends) will be restoring my health and MOVING FORWARD in every direction! It feels so good to have my mind on something other than my next treatment… I Am One Grateful Lady!!
I’ve always loved a glam look. Full make-up and big hair – yep, absolutely! Since chemotherapy, I’ve had to trade my long blonde locks in for a short pixie which has been somewhat of an adjustment – but hey… it definitely beats being BALD! haha!!
But as strange as it may sound, the side affect from chemo that really bothered me the most was losing my eyelashes.
Y’all, I’ve never had much in the beauty department BUT everyone in my family – my Mother and all three brothers – have thick, long – super long- eyelashes! It was my one thing, ya know . . . WAS being the key word here, cause they are now TOAST!
I’m thankful they’re growing back in but I’m not sure if the process is really slow or if this stubby version is my new norm – but DANG I Miss Those Lashes!!

And can I tell you how CONVENIENT it is to wake up every day and hit the ground running as I bypass “just another step” of my morning routine?! It Is THE BEST! Most days, I wear “my lashes” bare but for special occasions I add just a touch of mascara and BAMMM! Seriously SO Good!
