I love dresses.  I always have.  I think they’re just easy.   Simply add a great pair of shoes, a piece of your favorite jewelry and you’re all set!  I am especially partial to wearing dresses during the Spring and Summer months.  Not only are they cooler, I think they just have a fresher look than shorts or capris (which certainly have their own place!).   Maybe that’s why I was so excited to find Karina Dresses!

This Carolyn dress fits like a tailor-made piece and I’m sure its due in part to the amazing fabric.  The movement and flow of this Navy Painted Plaid is perfection and I absolutely love it!  Just enough stretch to give when needed and never a crease or wrinkle.  Certainly ideal for every day work wear but my first thought was how well this dress would travel – planes, trains and automobiles – it would make the perfect partner!!

 

 

I also appreciate the modest cut making it appropriate for most any occasion.  And can I just say, “Thank Goodness For A Dress With Sleeves!!!”   I can’t tell you how many dresses I would have purchased during my lifetime BUT didn’t only because they were sleeveless!!  Always sleeveless!!  I live in the South and, yes, its crazy hot here come summertime, but I find myself always in need of a jacket or cardi because I freeze the moment I walk into the office or a frigid restaurant!  The 3/4 length sleeve makes this dress so versatile and a piece that I can enjoy year round!
