Happy National Girlfriends Day Y’all!
I have so much to celebrate when it comes to girlfriends! Battling breast cancer for the past nine months has been so hard – some days I didn’t even make it out of bed.
I am SO Thankful I have fabulous girlfriends…. eight angels to be exact ~ Bobbi, Courtney, Debbie, Denise, Mishella, Monica, Noemi and Renee. These women are always So Much Fun – they keep me laughing and help me stay on track in this crazy thing called life!
BUT what I love most about these eight ladies is who they are when the music stops and the laughter subsides. These women are precious, loyal friends who are there in the darkest hour.
And I know that for a fact – cause my darkest hours have been all too recent. These women have carried me through some rough waters ~ holding my hand, sharing my tears and praying like only a sister can pray.
While I waded through chemo, surgery and, now, radiation these amazing friends have been busy behind the scenes – sharing schedules as they played chauffeur, housekeeper and chef for me and my children -never missing a beat with their own families or responsibilities while they each had a part in caring for mine.
I am so very blessed to have my tribe of Girlfriends!! These ladies are definitely worth celebrating!!
