Ya know, there’s a real difference in being Happy and having Joy.
Happiness is based on OTHER things, people, places, events or thoughts.
True Joy comes from WITHIN – when we are grateful for who we are, where we are and how we are ~ understanding our purpose, being thankful and realizing that the journey is just as important as the destination. “Staying in MY lane” and trusting that God has purpose for ME in every situation.
I believe real Joy only comes as we learn to trust Him in ALL things. CHOOSING to refuse comparison and deciding to make myself available to serve and encourage others as I am grateful for every moment. It is only in THIS mindset that competition and jealousy are replaced with thankfulness and joy!!
I SO Believe It ~ Now The Trick Is To Walk It! It’s easier said than done but the reward will surely be worth the effort!!
