So much of our journey, though, is clouded and gray. And although I’m not a fan, I think I’m finally beginning to understand just why it is that God often leads us through some seasons with very little foresight – He knows how much easier my life will be if I simply learn to Trust Him. Sounds so simple, but this girl just wants a sneak peek at what’s around the corner – ya know, I just need to know what to pack, Lord! Will my highest heels work or is this a combat boot kind of mission!?? Ha!
The longer I walk with the Lord the more I understand that it is enough that God alone knows the plan. My role is so easy – Let Go & Let God. Let God Be God and SIMPLY TRUST. Trust that He is Real. Trust that He loves me. Trust that His promises are true. Trust that He is ever faithful.
If I can ever grab tightly to those truths THEN I can begin to trust that He will always equip me with what I need when I need it. Learning to lean on Him means releasing my need to know and replacing it with a desire to grow.
So I guess life actually can be Black & White – I just need to walk forward remembering that JUST BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW THE PLAN DOESNT MEAN THERE ISN’T ONE!
