When Allergan reached out to me about a possible partnership, I was so excited!

  As you may know, the Allergan portfolio includes Botox Cosmetic (the first and only FDA-approved product for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet and frown lines)!  YES, PLEASE!!    Allergan kindly offered to set-up a consultation for me with a local administrator – of course, I was completely on board!!

I have had Botox before and was always pleased with fewer lines but left a bit disappointed.  I felt like my appearance was minimally changed and that the effort and the money just wasn’t quite worth it!  My most recent experience even ended with a slight “brow drop” – which is reallllly irritating!  Paying money for self-improvement only to arrive home disappointed and with a new “problem area”is NOT my idea of self-care!  I found out later, as I discussed this situation with the professionals at Graper Cosmetic Surgery, that this is all too common and the problem never lies with the product(if Botox is used) but with the administrator.  There are far too many “professionals”administering similar products – and neither will deliver the results you’re after –  Confirming your provider is a Allergan provider and utilizes a certified administrator are key to obtaining desired results!!

I wasn’t currently a patient BUT Dr. Robert Graper and his entire Staff have a pristine reputation – so my hopes were high and my expectations were higher!!

When it comes to aging and wrinkles, my main concern has always been the area between the brows that is home to my “Elevens”!

Those pesky two vertical lines seriously irritate me beyond belief and I was sooo happy to know that they were on the way OUT! 

Now, Don’t Misunderstand. . . .  there are SEVERAL areas that need attention (Dang Gravity!!!!) but that one area is the thing I notice EVERY SINGLE TIME I look in the mirror!!

I guess we all have minor (or major) tweaks we’d like to make to our appearance.  And while I do have a few other nooks and crannies – those Deep Set Elevens really need to GO!  Thankfully, it’s an easy fix if administered properly using the certified Botox Cosmetic by Allergan.

The day of my appointment arrived and I was on the ready to get myself in the chair!  This process is easy, convenient and the results can be as subtle or extravagant as you choose. . .   Personally, I was looking to OBLITERATE Those Dang LINES!!!  I walked in smiling . . . I was on a mission!

First, let me say that Graper Cosmetic Surgery absolutely lives up to their amazing reputation. The office is bright and cheerful and the staff immediately set me at ease.  Dr. Robert Graper, Dr. Garrett Harper and the entire Staff are absolutely delightful in every way!

And then there was Linda Cochrane Owens.  I Fell In LOVE With LINDA! 

Not only is Linda an RN of 20+ years and an experience expert certified injector, she is also one of the elite Allergan Medical Institute National Trainers!  To say I felt I was in good hands is an understatement!! 

And not only is this lovely lady at the top of her game professionally, I truly think she was more excited than I was about my fabulous transformation!  I don’t think I have ever met ANYONE in Any profession who was as excited about what they do on a day-to-day basis!

Linda discussed where the Botox injections would be administered and why –  she kept the word “refreshed” to describe her goal for my outcome and y’all, I was ALLL IN!!  A Little REFRESH Is Something This Southern Blonde Could Absolutely Use!! 

Botox is quick and painless y’all!  Linda shared her “plan” and fifteen minutes later Botox was complete!  When she finished,Linda explained that while the injection for this newer, refreshed version of me was complete, it would take up to two weeks for me to receive the full results ….

All I knew is that the me I saw as I looked in the mirror already looked amazingly improved . . .  much like I had gotten an unexpected nap and a quick facial!  And those deep creases between my brows were but a faint memory!  I was one happy lady!!

As Linda looked over my wonderful results, we continued to chat and she mentioned the most common complaints she hears from women as they age  – loss of fullness in the cheeks and lips and deep set “folds” around the mouth.   As she talked and pointed out those areas on my face, I immediately shook my head YES. I knew EXACTLY those problems all too well – they’re all just a part of the aging process – and while I’ve accepted it and am enjoying the midlife journey, I’m not exactly thrilled with the sags and bags it often brings along!

I listened intently and heard myself saying, “Yes, Yes and YES”, as she asked if I would be interested in trying some Juvederm filler in those difficult areas she mentioned.   I was to return in two weeks for a follow-up visit (just to be sure my Botox responded properly) and Linda said we would move ahead with the filler injections at that time.   I was already so pleased with my results and could hardly wait for the two weeks to pass so that we could complete my mid-life freshen!!

Two weeks later, I was back for my follow-up visit and am happy to report that those pesky “Elevens” were no where to be found!!   As she prepared, Linda began to discuss more detail about the Juvederm injections – I was SO Excited but honestly kind of Nervous! “Fillers” were new to me and I didn’t want to end up looking like one of those women you see and feel pity for!!  You know the ones, their face and lips look like they may pop like a balloon if you stuck them with something sharp!  Yeah . . . those women – I did NOT want to be stuck with that face and I was just bit anxious!  Fortunately for me, I knew Graper Cosmetic Surgery and Linda Cochrane Owens are experts in their field and Allergan creates products you can trust.  I found confidence in that  – I Was Completely Surrounded By Excellence!!

Linda assured me I would be pleased and fully explained each step in detail.  She talked about where the Juvederm would be injected and why, as well as the result I could expect in each injection area.  She numbed my face with a topical cream and we were off to the races!!

The injections were at best undetectable and at worst a verrry minor pinch (yay!)!  “No Pain – No Gain” had NO PLACE HERE and I was soo happy to hear it!!  The Juvederm filler actually has numbing ingredient included so as the injectionist continues to administer, the areas treated continue to remain numb – Thank You Allergan!

Linda began with my cheekbones and the “hollows” under my eyes – you know, the area that makes us just look sooo tired even when we aren’t!!  And let me tell you   . . . it was Immediate Gratification!!! I was just amazed at what the mirror revealed!  It was magic – Pure MAGIC!!

She then moved down to my cupid’s bow, lip area and the folds at my mouth.  Just enough to refresh – nothing harsh – I actually felt like people may not even really notice . . . you know like one of those situations where someone knows something is different but they just can’t put their finger on what it is!!  I just looked rested and refreshed as Linda had promised.  I finally felt like my face now reflected the way I felt about myself and my life and it was amazing!

And one of the coolest things about this process is that the results are immediate and the downtime is next to nothing!  After my treatment, I was absolutely perfect to go about my day! 

As we were wrapping up, Linda reminded me that some patients experience minimal swelling or bruising – I actually had barely any of either –and that I would see complete results in about two days!

I left the office just thrilled with my results and a couple days later, after minimal swelling (almost unnoticeable to others), I was the new, improved me! 

Refreshed and at my very best!  I smile at the results every time I look in the mirror – subtle but absolutely transformational!
