I am a happy girl cause the Weekend Is HERE!

I have a couple dinners scheduled with a little shopping on the side and I am EXCITED for it all!  I love weekends that are a bit open – making time for coffee with a friend, a quick nap or maybe a doughnut!! HA!

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted to share a little bit about an event that Meg (my daughter-@brunettebythesea) and I were a part of last week at Dillard’s with Lancôme!  We had an absolute BALL!

Lancôme had a special guest, Leny Navarro, international renowned make-up artist, and his amazing Team in for a full day of pampering for their long list of customers!

 

 

I just adored him immediately – Bisou Bisou – who doesn’t love that accent, right?!

And while that did grab me right away, watching this amazing man share his passion for skin care, make-up artistry and transformation with so many women just filled me with immediate admiration.

I watched as Leny LISTENED To Every Single Woman – taking in HER vision of the look SHE wanted to create and then giving her the tools and tips to make it happen.  Not only does this Artist want to create beauty, he wants every woman he encounters to FEEL Beautiful!  And Believe Me, Each One Of Them Absolutely Did!!

Y’all know I am ALLL about great make-up . . . so let me share my three Lancôme favorites!!  And let me just say, even I was a little surprised…

The first on my list would have to be Lancôme’s  Monsieur Big Mascara AND I Just Can’t Believe It!  I have used the same mascara for YEARS!  I prepped Sonya, Dillard’s Lancôme Counter Manager, that I probably would not be waving pompoms for a mascara change!  She was most gracious, smiled, and said, “Well, just try it.”  I did, skeptically, and y’all I can honestly tell you it is Wonderful  . . .  like I am using Lancôme in place of my usual mascara kind of WONDERFUL . . . and that NEVER Happens!!  You Must Try It!!

Secondly, I am just head-over-heels for the Lancôme Brow Densify Powder-To-Cream !  Such a game changer for those of us who need a little more help (and control) with our brow definition!  Super easy to apply with a sponge-tipped wand, this power transforms scraggly brows with depth and definition.  True to its name, this miracle worker starts out light as a feather in powder form but after applied,  migrates to a cream/fiber rich consistency creating the look of a full, even brow line! Seriously MAGIC!

And then there is Lancôme’s Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate!!! Y’all know I’m ALWAYS on a mission to find what is best for my skin (and yours!!) and this stuff is The BOMB!  Lancôme boasts that this Concentrate will have you seeing visibly younger skin in just 7 days . . . and IT IS TRUE!  My skin is so sensitive (thanks eczema!) and so I am always thrilled when I find a skin care product that focuses on the texture of my skin.  With Advanced Genifique not only did my skin have that healthy glow we’re all after, but I also could see and feel a huge improvement in the overall condition of my skin – smooth and supple with a resiliency that hasn’t been around for quite some time!
