Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends!
Can y’all believe this crazy weather?! Many of you are still getting snow (I would die!!) and those cold temps just won’t go away! At least here on the East Coast, it’s beginning to look more and more like Spring may truly arrive – the trees are blooming and tulips (my fav!!) are popping up all over town!
We’re getting ready for Easter at my house this week – they’re forecasting gorgeous sunshine and temps in the mid 70s! Hallelujah!!
Easter brings back so many fond memories for me. Growing up, I ALWAYS had a new Easter outfit. The dress, the shoes, the hat and a purse (usually straw cause I was all about that!)!
When I had children of my own, I always enjoyed dressing them – Bless Their Hearts, they just learned to endure it, I guess, until they were old enough to have a style all their own.
Meggie adorned with those enormous bows, gorgeous pinks and all the ruffles you could imagine. Landon in the sweetest seersucker, knee socks and adorable bow ties – oh how I loved those days!
As a young mother, as well as aging into midlife – the thought of Easter (and Spring in general) turns my mind toward gorgeous dresses and classic suits – all done in fabulous seasonal colors that are so prominent in the South during this magical time of year.
