Happy Almost Friday Y’all!
Can y’all believe June is here?! I honestly can’t understand how May slipped away! Lazy summer days are upon us – bring on the sweet tea and sunshine!! Seriously, PLEASE – I need to see those Carolina BLUE SKIES cause after almost two weeks of clouds and rain, this girl is ready for some SUNSHINE!!
We are actually in line for some beautiful weather this weekend and I’m smiling just thinking about it!
Many of y’all know, I am a Charlotte native. It is such a great place to live and it seems growth is constant – there are so many wonderful sections of our city and so many I haven’t made time to visit. We created 4ForFashion for just that reason, hoping to share hotspots around town (and beyond) that you may have missed!

Located in the Camden Gallery directly by the Light Rail, Blue Hem is literal heaven for denim lovers.
Owned by sisters, Susie and Vanessa (who just had a baby!), Blue Hem is an absolutely gorgeous spot with all the boutique feels! So spacious with amazing lighting, an understated chic with a rustic twist and beautiful denim at every turn – it’s all you hope for and more for your SouthEnd shopping experience- I honestly didn’t want to leave!
Blue Hem is dedicated to designer denim and houses the largest selection around for both men and women! Over 14 Brands – some you’ll immediately recognize and others that may be brand new to your fashion list of Go-Tos.
Sometimes amazing selection can seem overwhelming – especially if you’re like me and go into paralysis by analysis! No worries here! These ladies are experts when it comes to assisting your selection, directing clients to just the right cut and style based on preferences and body type. Such a great experience!

Rachel @queencitychic (Blog and Instagram) should be the poster girl for this amazing area of town (have you met her adorable fur-baby??). Her style appears to come with ease as she pairs these cut-offs by James Jeans (the Perfect length, by the way) with an adorable white tee (ruffles!!). Just add Amazing #legsfordays and a cute pair of mules and you’re good to go!!
Lauren @laurenmerola (Blog and Instagram) obviously has the art of taking simple pieces and making them all her own. These distressed jeans (oh-I-love-them-so!) by McGuire Denim are just a touch different in the best way and just right for a summertime date-night or your next GNO. Paired with a not-so-plain white tee, cute heels and Fabulous hoops – absolute effortless perfection!
The moment our little foursome decided to do white with denim, I Knew Laura @smartsouthernstyle (Blog and Instagram) would be in a crisp white blouse with a fabulous statement necklace! This one always has the best accessories! What I didn’t expect were these AMAZING Leopard sandals- SO Good, right?!! Her Joe’s Jeans denim have just a hint of distress, keeping her beautiful classic look perfectly on trend!
My denim is from 3×1 and all I can say is WOW – Talk About The PERFECT FIT!!
Let me just say, Y’all I Love A High Rise Skinny!! Fabric with the perfect blend of just enough stretch to feel oh-so-good! But you know how this story goes . . . all too often, jeans fit great for the first hour but then lose shape as the day progresses, leaving you tugging and pulling til the next wash snaps them back in!!
SO Not The Case With These Blue Beauties!! My 3×1’s deliver the perfect balance of stretch and shape while the channel in-seam ensures maximum movement but never compromising comfort – These Jeans Are KEEPERS!
